AMPLIFYING UNHEARD VOICES THROUGH CREATIVE COLLABORATION
WHAT IS RAAH?
RAAH. is a global youth movement,
amplifying the voices of people affected by migration displacement, human trafficking and
Our aim is to put an end to inequality. The first step will be RAAH. Fest, an 8 hour online festival streaming on 24th October 2020. The festival will feature over 30 performances of music, documentaries and short films, as well as testimonials – ranging from survivors of human trafficking to inspirational accounts of migration.
RAAH. Fest will give people who have come face-to-face with real world problems the opportunity to use their voice, share their experience and inspire others to be part of the change they want to see. Through RAAH. Fest we aim to raise funds for over 20 amazing charities, social enterprises and grassroots projects.
We don’t like to think of people as statistics, often this can dehumanise individuals and mean their stories become lost, they become just another number. However, the sheer numbers of the people at risk means there are some figures that are difficult to ignore.
WHERE ARE THE DONATIONS GOING?
No one should feel like they don’t belong, which is why RAAH. Fest supports some pretty amazing charities. These charities are dedicated to putting an end to human trafficking and racial discrimination and the negative impacts of migration displacement.
We are dedicated to making every penny count!
Funds raised by RAAH. Fest will go towards helping our selected charities, and providing grants for individuals/grassroots projects and ensuring RAAH. can continue to do good.
